Pecorino Romano DOP imposes itself with ever greater authority over the market, not only Italian but also internationally. In 2012, the turnoverof the production of Pecorino Romano grew by 16.6%, from 120 million to 140 of 201, and the forecast for the current year is to reach quota of 160 million euro. Brilliant performance mainly due to export: 86 million in 2013 with a +50% compared to 2011. This result was possible thanks to the growth of new markets and the increase in the average price.
