Over 200 bottles were uncorked during the 60 scheduled events and tastings, for a total of nearly 1.500 samples with buyers and distributors of the industry from more than 10 countries.
These are the numbers that Schenk Italian Wineries observed during ProWein 2017, the international fair dedicated to wines and spirits and reserved to professionals only, which was held in Düsseldorf last week.
An exhibition with very significant numbers for the wine business: 1,500 Italian exhibitors on over 6,300 exhibitors from 60 countries for a total of 265 wine regions. More than 55,000 professional visitors, of which 50% came from outside Germany.
“We are very pleased for these days at Prowein- commented Daniele Simoni, Italian Wineries Schenk, CEO. We had the chance to deal with international experts, coming from very interesting markets for us. Not only Germany, in fact, but also the northern European countries such as the UK, Belgium, Finland and Sweden, as well as France, Russia, Czech Republic, South Africa and United States of America. A sign that the growth path taken by our Group, continues at full pace, by enhancing the orientation toward the territory that we strongly wanted in the last 10 years , to bring to the world the beauty and peculiarities of Italy's wine”.
