ENIT and FICO – Italian Farming Factory – will be working together to attract millions of visitors through the promotion of the Italian know-how and food farming expertise. This is the main goal of the new agreement between ENIT (Italian National Agency for Tourism) and FICO signed during a press conference held by ENIT President Evelina Christillin, ENIT board member Fabio Maria Lazzerini, founder of Eataly Oscar Farinetti, Italian Undersecretary of Tourism – MIBACT, and FICO Eataly World CEO Tiziana Primori.
The agreement sets forth ENIT’s involvement in new promotional campaigns addressed to the general public, tour operators and the media both in Italy both abroad in order to foster FICO Eataly World to turn into the real milestone for any international tourist who wish to master the secrets of Italian biodiversity and live the most complete and authentic Italian food and wine experience.
Evelina Christillin confirmed ENIT’s commitment to “promote the Italian food faming culture by encouraging the creation of innovative business models to address the new needs of international tourism”. FICO Eataly World is ready to play its role as “the cradle of Italian agriculture by gathering the best farming factories of our country”. It is to become,“the capital of Italian biodiversity in the world”, said Eataly founder Oscar Farinetti.
