The thirtieth edition of The Golden Guide I Vini di Veronelli will see two new curators alongside Gigi Brozzoni: Alessandra Piubello, taster and reporter for national and international magazines, and Marco Magnoli, Seminario Veronelli ‘s contributor, connoisseur of Italy wine making.
The new team is certainly the most significant change amongst those that will involve the guide gradually, starting from the2018 edition.
From the upcoming edition the competence of the contributors will be defined on a precise geographical distribution basis: this will allow a better organization that will take to a closely analysis throughout Italy, even the smallest regions.
Conversely, the collaboration with Daniel Thomases, attentive and passionate critic, taster of international standing and one of the greatest connoisseurs of Italian wine, arrives to an end.
The renewal process promoted by the Veronelli Seminary has effects in other aspects of the publication, perhaps more technical but equally useful to ensure the seriousness of the volume, such as the choice to refuse advertising by wine companies and the donation to a charitable organization of the remaining bottles not used for tasting.
