Milan welcomes GNAM!, the European Street Food Festival

GNAM!, the European Street Food Festival, arrives in Milan for the first time, from the 10th to the 13th of May.

The event, which will be held in the City Life district, aims to enhance the knowledge of food traditions with cultural and ethnic elements, by focusing on the bio-diversity and genuineness of typical regional agro-food products.
The Milan stage of GNAM! is part of the Milan Food City events program and it will offer guests the opportunity to taste and discover typical regional products and the most famous international dishes.

Four days of paths, tastes and flavors, where you can get lost among the many gastronomic islands and observe the live preparation of the most delicious recipes while listening to the stories of the producers.

In the Italian islands people will find typical “bombette”, fried fish “cuoppi”, hot “panzerotti” and “pasticciotti” from Puglia, panelle, pane ca’ meusa, and arancini from Sicily, mozzarella, the real “montanara” and Naples typical pastries such as babà, pastiera, sfogliatella and crunchy aragostina from Campania. From Central Italy, “arrosticini”, “olive ascolane” and “caciocavallo impiccato”, and still, Chianina meat from Tuscany, the famous lampredotto, and fried gnocco from Emilia with tasty cold cuts.

International street food, instead, will come from Spain, Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, Hungary, Japan and Greece, among other countries.
