When the expansion abroad began, in America ‘people did not even pronounce the word ‘Ham’. Today we have two bases in the USA, in Southern California and New York respectively, and from there we aim at expanding in Canada and Mexico’. Vladimir Dukcevich is CEO of Kipre Group, a Company that for over 60 years has been a leader in the sale of raw ham and PDO San Daniele ham, marketed all over the world with King's and Principe brands. The Company concluded a financing agreement with Sace (Gruppo Cassa depositi e prestiti) and Banca Akros (Banco BPM Group), in view of a collaboration for the international growth of Italian excellences in the agri-food sector. This operation is worth 18.6 million Euros and is the first one in favour of a company in the sector of salami and cold cuts, segment of agri-food that, ‘despite the persistent weakness of domestic demand, already in 2015 experienced a growth of production again, thanks to the incentive effect of exports’, as the joint statement says. UniCredit, too, is a part of the pool that financed Kipre, with 20% share, in addition to Popolare Milano and Intesa. 
San Daniele wins in Brazil. Foreign sales of salami and cold cuts continue to grow even in the first nine months of 2016 (+ 5%), for a total of over one billion Euros of exported goods, especially to European markets (+ 6%), with Germany, France, United Kingdom, and Spain in the lead.
The loan, with a duration of 90 months, is assisted by a security package that includes, among other things, a privilege on over 400,000 King's and Principe hams in stock. This allows Kipre to maintain its ordinary production activity and to continue, without constraints, to market its products and optimise its customer portfolio.
This operation involves the collaboration of ‘Consorzio del Prosciutto di San Daniele’ Consortium, as certifier of stocks and body for the promotion and protection of ‘Prosciutto di San Daniele’ brand and PDO.
Kipre holding has six production plants: one in Trieste (San Dorligo della Valle), two at San Daniele del Friuli, one at Sossano (Vicenza), and two in the province of Parma (Langhirano and Marzolara di Calestano). The Company was founded in 2005 and has 500 employees. It operates in more than 35 Countries.
