Barilla experiments with instore restaurants with Carrefour

The Carrefour of Portogruaro is an example of a food transition. The store is characterized both by an area dedicated to the food transition products of the Carrefour 2022 plan (highlighted by a specific communication from the Act for food claim) and by the presence of a refreshment area with its own production of pizzas and sandwiches, where there is a Barilla Pasta Corner. This is the first example of a restaurant concept based on the first Italian favorite dish developed in a hypermarket. The entire pasta "Eat-In" project has been developed in collaboration with Barilla, a reference brand in all pasta segments as well as in condiment sauces. The proposals vary every day, including baked recipes, to be consumed on site. The corner provided for the implementation of specific products, with menus and technologies designed for catering based on the seasonal rotation of recipes. The values ​​of the Mediterranean diet are at the base of the proposal. The offer includes a daily selection of simple and traditional dishes, complemented by stuffed and gratin pasta. The goal is to allow customers to choose the refreshment point as a lunch break at any time of the week.
