Matilde Vicenzi: new temporary shop in Rome

After the opening in Milan to coincide with the beginning of Expo, Matilde Vicenzi opens a new temporary shop, ‘La Pasticceria di Matilde Vicenzi (Matilde Vicenzi’s Pastry Shop)’, always in the station, but this time in Rome.

  • In the area facing the rails in Termini Train station, the traveller is captured by the smell of Vicenzi specialities, enclosed in a location that reproduces the refined and welcoming atmosphere of a pastry shop. This is highly visible project, designed in order to celebrate the 110 year history of this group from Verona. It is a significant milestone for the company, which is still family owned.
  • For this anniversary, four gift boxes were realized. They contain Matilde Vicenzi’s specialities combined with Seletti design porcelain: a kit for preparing such sweets of the Italian confectionery tradition as ‘tiramisu’.
  • In the new temporary shop the new limited edition of Grisbì, too, will be sold: Fresh Summer Edition 2015, which adds to such classic flavours as chocolate, hazelnut, lemon cream, and coffee. It is ‘limited’ because the new taste of summer this year is coconut (last year it was mint), and ‘limited’ because the version which should be consumed cold is available in the summer months only and is kept in the refrigerator, instead of on the shelf.
  • ‘La Pasticceria di Matilde Vicenzi’ is open in Rome, Termini Station, until September 9th, everyday from 8 AM to 10 PM.
