Internationalization is the slogan of the Macfrut Committee to set the goals of the 2018 edition at Rimini Fiera from the 9th to the 11th of May next year. The goal is to arrive at 27% of foreign visitors (18% just four years ago) and 1500 buyers invited (250 in the 2014 edition).
The international missions will land in Colombia (Country Partener 2018), Chile, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ethiopia, Angola, with the addition of other road shows in Eastern Europe together with UniCredit, the strategic partner of the fair.
New contents are coming. First of all, with the Tropical & Exotic Fruit Forum, a focus on the traditional tropical and exotic, with insights into production, processing, marketing, product management and consumption. A grand style event designed to increase the attractiveness of the fair to buyers and producers of this type of fruit.
The exhibition section will also see some new features with a pre-collection area with the creation of a dedicated showroom: Macfrut Field Solution. Another news will be a bigger characterization of Macfrut Bio, with the enhancement of a productive segment , where Italy is the world leader.
