Ferrero: rewarded for choosing welfare for its hens

Ferrero has chosen to use only eggs from hens not raised in cages in all its production plants in Europe. For this reason, the Italian ‘giant’ of confectionery, appreciated all over the world, received the ‘Good Egg’ Award, granted by Compassion in World Farming (CIWF), the international non-governmental organization that looks after the welfare of farm animals.

This good practice is included in ‘Ferrero Farming Values (FFV)’ programme, which in turn is part of it ‘F-ACTS (Ferrero -Agricultural Commitment to Sustainability)’, an initiative which concern every strategic supply chain of the company.
