Costa Crociere signs a high-profile agreement with Pollenzo

Bancadelvino2Costa Cruises announces a partnership with the Wine Bank of Pollenzo to produce a new sustainable and organic wine list on board. More than 100 wine labels are available, including the best from Italy and around the world.

lavoro-costa-crociere1Costa Crociere selected the best wineries that express the best of Italian wine treasures, by using the solid knowledge of the cooperative, in order to offer its guests a new wine list with over 100 labels carefully selected among the most prestigious in Italy and abroad, produced in the respect of the environment and perfect to enjoy the cuisine of the regional Italian tradition offered on board.

The proposals of the new wine list are representative of 19 Italian regions and countries such as France, Portugal, Spain, New Zealand, Australia and the USA. The selection is divided into 4 different categories of wines, recognizable by a small logo affixed to each one: guests can choose from sustainable wines, organic wines, wines from the area and wines to match the dishes of the regional menus.

Among them, guests will find, for example, Roero Arneis Pradalupo DOCG of "Fontanafredda" of Piedmont, Friuli Colli Orientali Sauvignon DOC of "Le Vigne di Zamò", Pinot Noir of South Tyrol by "Elena Walch", Gavi DOCG "La Raia" of Piedmont, The Teroldego Rotaliano DOCG of "Foradori" of Trentino Alto Adige,  Albana di Romagna Vigna Rocca DOCG of "Tre Monti", the Frascati Superiore Racemo DOCG "L'Olivella" from Lazio, the Chianti Classico Reserve Berardenga DOCG of "Fattoria di Felsina" of Tuscany, the Aglianico del Vulture, l’Aglianico del Vulture Il Repertorio DOC “Cantine del Notaio” from Basilicata and many others.
